Birth of a Blog

This is the post before the first post. The pre-post, the introductory post… you get the idea. This site has been months in the making (yes, I know it should have been a couple of weeks). I want to thank all of the people (or at least most of the people) that helped me.

Tina Forsyth (www.onlinebusinessmanager.com) and the wonderful women in the OBM mentorship group. Without them, I would’ve already given up.

Willie Jackson (www.williejackson.com). Great site design, great twitter page design. If you don’t know this guy, you will soon. He’s going places.

Chris Jordan(theagencyedge.com). Chris helped with the site design and development. I think he’s a great guy (based on his facebook page and tweets).

Karen Yaeger (www.openskyvideo.com) at Open Sky Video. Your video tips and ideas were extremely helpful.

Men with Pens (www.menwithpens.ca) I just wanted a simple site with simple copy. You would not believe the stuckness and inertia I experienced in trying to generate simple, clear copy. Men with Pens got it done.

Pamela Slim (www.escapefromcubiclenation.com), great coach, great inspiration. I know it’s unrealistic to put the perfect brand in place before you have one client but I still want t0.

It takes a village to launch a website.

There’s only one more thing on the to do list…Get Clients…Yikes!

Willie,

You’re young enough to be my son but you are a great inspiration to me.
Keep doing what you do!

Hi Maura,
I was really trying to communicate my passion and how important I think this work is.
